Invitations

Wedding invitation with watercolor painting of Brae Burn Country Club in Newton, MA.

Wedding invitations are a big deal!  They set the mood and the vibe for your big day, giving your guests a glimpse of what to expect from your wedding weekend.  Consider that your invitation will likely be displayed on your guests’ refrigerators and bulletin boards for months prior to your wedding day.  We strive to bring your unique love story to life through a cohesive design for all your wedding stationery.

And while weddings are the most popular around here, other celebrations are welcome too!  Birth announcements, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, anything that calls for a celebration deserves a special announcement.

Want to learn more about a custom wedding invitation suite?

Here’s the process.

Inquiry
Fill out the new client questionnaire.  If you haven’t decided on some of the details regarding your wedding, that’s okay.  Just tell me as much as you can so that I can get to know you.  If you’d like to schedule a phone call or a zoom meeting, I am happy to do that.  Based on your answers, I will send you a quote and my contract.  Or, you can email me with any questions you have if you’d prefer not to fill out a form just yet.

Sketch/Paint/Design
Once the contract is signed and the design fee has been paid, the sketching begins.  The sketches will be sent to you and based on your feedback, we will continue sketching or move forward with the design and begin drawing, painting and doing the calligraphy for the suite.

Design Approval
Once the design is complete, the entire suite will be sent to you for your approval.   Based on your feedback, edits and adjustments will be made accordingly.  When everything is just right, you sign off your approval and we go to print!  The order must be paid in full before the suite is sent to print.
